We feel it is imperative to spend time with the client and the people who are important to them, to discover how best to deliver the care and support that is required. This will be delivered in line with current legislation to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the client is always met.

A designated Care Manager will spend time getting to know the client and the support required; we will then recruit specifically to meet their individual requirements.

We evolve to new ways of working to ensure that everyone’s support is delivered in a bespoke way to meet their individual need.

We communicate new ways of working and invite clients and their families to attend training, so they are aware of why we have to work in a certain way.

Previous knowledge and skills are imperative to fulfil our roles. We also offer additional training and qualifications to enable people to continue their professional development.

We review and develop support plans as needs change, ensuring clients are always taking the lead on how their support is delivered.

We work with clients holistically and signpost to other appropriate services which we feel may help with their progression and development.

We encourage the people we support to take an interest in maintaining a healthy diet. We work with the multi-disciplinary team to support clients to plan, prepare and cook meals with the use of adaptive equipment where necessary. Mealtimes should be encouraged to be an inclusive social event.

All of our staff must have completed a QCF Level 2 or equivalent as a minimum standard, as well as completing our mandatory training which includes Acquired Brain Injury Level 2.
